1. The Inspired Recruitment Teacher Referral Program (the Program) is run by Inspired Recruitment.
2. The Program rewards people who introduce a teacher who is looking for work and whom we then successfully place in a teaching role. Each Successful Referral earns a reward of up to $500 and, if the teacher stays in the role for four months, an entry into our yearly raffle.
3. By making a referral, you (the Referrer) agree to these terms and conditions.

1. Anyone can refer a teacher, in Australia or overseas, including candidates, teachers, school staff, parents and members of the public.
2. The only exceptions are: a teacher cannot refer themselves, and Inspired employees and contractors cannot earn rewards or raffle entries under the Program.
3. If you work at a school and are involved in the hiring decision for the role the teacher is placed in, that referral is not eligible.
4. The referred teacher must be seeking a Primary, Middle, Secondary or Special Needs teaching role, and must hold the qualifications, teacher registration and work rights the role requires (or be able to obtain them).

1. To refer a teacher, submit their details through the referral program page on inspiredrec.com, or email enquiries@inspiredrec.com.au, with your full name, phone number and email address, and the teacher's full name, phone number, email address and teaching area.
2. You must have the teacher's permission before sharing their details with us.
3. A referral is only valid if the teacher is new to Inspired, meaning they are not already registered with us and have not been in contact with us in the 12 months before your referral.
4. If more than one person refers the same teacher, the first referral we receive (online or by email) counts.
5. A referral becomes a Successful Referral when Inspired places the teacher in a permanent or fixed-term teaching role with a school, within 12 months of the referral date, and the teacher starts work in that role.
6. Casual and relief work, and roles the teacher secures without Inspired (directly with a school or through another agency), do not count.
7. We will confirm receipt of each referral by email within 5 business days. We decide, acting reasonably, whether a referral is valid and successful.

1. Each Successful Referral earns a reward of AUD $500, paid in two instalments.
2. For a fixed-term contract shorter than 12 months, the reward applies on a pro-rata basis, based on the length of the contract. For example, a 6-month contract earns AUD $250. Permanent roles and fixed-term contracts of 12 months or more earn the full AUD $500.
3. Pro-rata rewards are paid in the same two equal instalments and on the same timing set out below (for example, AUD $125 and AUD $125 for a 6-month contract).
4. First instalment: AUD $250 (or half the pro-rata reward), paid within 30 days after the teacher's first day in the role.
5. Second instalment: AUD $250 (or half the pro-rata reward), paid within 30 days after the teacher has completed four months in the role, counted from their start date. The teacher must still be employed in that role on that date.
6. If the teacher resigns or otherwise leaves the role for any reason within the first four months, the second instalment is not paid. The first instalment is not recovered from you.
7. Rewards are paid by bank transfer, in Australian dollars, to an account in the Referrer's name. Overseas Referrers are paid in AUD, and any currency conversion or receiving bank fees are the Referrer's responsibility.
8. You must give us your bank details within 60 days of our request, or the reward lapses.
9. There is no limit on the number of rewards one Referrer can earn.
10. Rewards are not transferable and are not paid in any other form. You are responsible for any tax that applies to rewards you receive.

Entry

1. Each Successful Referral earns the Referrer one entry into the yearly raffle once the teacher completes four months in the role (when the second instalment becomes payable). A Referrer earns one entry per qualifying referral, with no limit.
2. If the teacher resigns or leaves the role within the first four months, that referral does not earn a raffle entry.
3. There is nothing to buy and no separate entry form. Entries are recorded by Inspired automatically.

When it is drawn

4. The raffle is drawn once a year, during the school holidays between Term 3 and Term 4 (New South Wales school calendar). The first draw will be held in 2027.
5. Each draw includes entries earned from the day after the previous draw's entry period closed until the last day of Term 3 of that year.
6. A draw only takes place if at least 50 qualifying Successful Referrals have been made across the whole Program in that entry period. If there are fewer than 50, no draw is held that year and all entries carry over to the next year's draw.
7. The winner is drawn at random by computer-generated random selection, in the presence of at least one person independent of Inspired. There is one winner per draw.

The prize

8. The winner receives a weekend away for two people at one of the following destinations of their choice: Uluru, the Whitsundays, Margaret River, the Great Ocean Road or Sydney, or another Australian destination agreed with Inspired.
9. The prize includes two return economy flights from the Australian capital city nearest the winner's home, and 2 nights' accommodation for two people. The total prize value is up to AUD $2,000 including GST.
10. The prize does not include transfers to and from airports, meals, drinks, activities, travel insurance, spending money or any other costs, which are the winner's responsibility.
11. The prize must be booked through Inspired and taken within 12 months of the draw, subject to availability. Peak periods and public holidays may be excluded.
12. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If the chosen prize becomes unavailable, Inspired may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
13. A winner living overseas receives the same prize, with flights from the Australian capital city they nominate. Travel to Australia, visas and entry requirements are the winner's responsibility.
14. The winner's travel companion must be 18 or older, or the winner's dependant travelling with them.

Winner notification

15. The winner will be notified by email and phone within 2 business days of the draw. Their first name, initial and state or country will be published on inspiredrec.com and Inspired's social media within 7 days.
16. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not accept the prize within 30 days, a redraw will be conducted.

1. Privacy. We handle the personal information of Referrers and referred teachers under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy at inspiredrec.com. We use it to run the Program, pay rewards, conduct the raffle and contact referred teachers about teaching opportunities.
2. Changes. We may change, suspend or end the Program by posting notice on inspiredrec.com. Referrals received before a change are honoured under the terms that applied when they were made.
3. Fair play. We may refuse or withhold a reward or raffle entry if a referral is fraudulent or misleading, was made without the teacher's permission, or breaches these terms.
4. No employment. Making a referral does not make you an employee, agent or representative of Inspired.
5. Liability. To the extent permitted by law, Inspired is not liable for any loss arising from the Program or the prize, except liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
6. Decisions. Our decisions on all matters relating to the Program and the raffle are final, and we will make them reasonably.
7. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
