We are seeking passionate Primary Teachers who are committed to creating engaging, inclusive and supportive learning environments where every child can succeed.
As a Primary Teacher in the NT, you will have the opportunity to inspire curiosity, build confidence and support students’ academic, social and emotional development. You will design engaging learning experiences that encourage creativity, collaboration and a lifelong love of learning.
From developing strong literacy and numeracy foundations to supporting student wellbeing and community connections, your contribution will extend beyond the classroom and help shape positive outcomes for young learners.
Key Responsibilities
● Deliver engaging and high-quality learning programs across primary year levels
● Plan and implement curriculum-aligned lessons that cater for diverse learning needs
● Develop students’ literacy, numeracy, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
● Create inclusive classrooms where students feel valued, supported and encouraged to achieve
● Build positive relationships with students, families and the wider school community
● Use assessment data to monitor progress and support student growth
● Support student wellbeing through strong pastoral care and positive behaviour strategies
● Contribute to extracurricular activities and the broader life of the school
What We’re Looking For
● Qualified Primary Teacher with relevant teaching experience
● Current teacher registration or eligibility to obtain NT teacher registration
● Experience teaching across primary year levels
● Strong classroom management and communication skills
● A commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
● A passion for developing confident, capable and engaged learners
● A willingness to embrace new experiences and contribute positively to a school community
Additional experience in areas such as Special Education, Literacy Intervention, EAL/D, STEM, The Arts, Sport, or Indigenous Education will be highly regarded.
