The Role
We are seeking passionate Physical Education Teachers who are committed to inspiring students through movement, sport, wellbeing and positive relationships.
You will have the opportunity to develop engaging programs that encourage students to build confidence, teamwork, resilience and a lifelong appreciation for health and physical activity.
From developing sporting programs to creating inclusive learning experiences, your contribution will extend beyond the classroom and help shape students’ personal growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
● Deliver engaging Health and Physical Education lessons across secondary year levels
● Plan and implement high-quality, curriculum-aligned learning programs
● Encourage student participation, confidence and achievement through sport and physical activity
● Create inclusive learning environments that support students with diverse abilities and backgrounds
● Build positive relationships with students, families and the wider school community
● Provide meaningful feedback to support student growth and progress
● Contribute to extracurricular sporting activities and the wider school culture
What We’re Looking For ● Qualified Physical Education Teacher with relevant teaching experience
● Current teacher registration or eligibility to obtain NT teacher registration
● Experience teaching Health and Physical Education across secondary year levels
● Strong classroom management and communication skills
● A passion for student wellbeing and engagement
● A willingness to embrace new experiences and contribute positively to a school community
Additional teaching areas such as Health, Science, Outdoor Education, Humanities, or another subject area will be highly regarded.
