Humanities Teacher (Full-Time, Ongoing) – Great School near Mildura, VIC

This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing ASAP. The successful candidate will teach Humanities across Years 7–12.
About the role as an Humanities Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging humanities lessons across Years 7–12, fostering students' love of reading, writing and critical thinking. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality humanities lessons across Years 7–12
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking and critical analysis skills
- Create engaging, inclusive and well-managed learning experiences
- Assess and report on student progress in line with the Victorian Curriculum and VCE requirements where applicable
- Contribute positively to the humanities faculty and wider school community
- Build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues to support student success
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
- A recognised teaching qualification (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)
- The ability to teach humanities across Years 7–12
- Strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and, ideally
- A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student wellbeing and achievement
- Excellent communication, organisational and classroom management skills
