Why we are hiring

Our clients keep asking for more talent, and right now our biggest constraint is candidate supply. We have strong pipelines of live roles and a client base that keeps growing, but we do not have enough quality candidates moving through our pipelines. That is where you come in.

As Team Leader, Resourcing, you will own the sourcing function. You will lead three consultants (Angeline, Rishita & Amit), lift their output, and still roll up your sleeves to hunt candidates yourself. You will report directly to Lucas Leonard, our CEO, and have a real seat at the table on how we grow.


What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and develop three consultants day to day, including weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and performance conversations.
• Own candidate generation across the business. Build repeatable sourcing plays that actually work in a tight market.
• Stay hands-on. You will still source, call, and shortlist on live roles, not just direct from the sidelines.
• Get the most out of Seek Talent Search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and wider social channels (Facebook groups, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp communities, teacher forums).
• Build talent pools and market maps for our hardest-to-fill roles.
• Partner with consultants and account managers on client briefs, shortlists, and candidate advocacy.
• Track and report on sourcing metrics: candidates per role, response rate, time to shortlist, conversion.
• Raise the bar on ATS hygiene and sourcing process across the team.

What you'll bring (essential)

• Minimum 1 year leading at least 1 or 2 direct reports in a recruitment environment.
• 2 to 3 years' experience in commercial (agency) recruitment.
• Hands-on, demonstrable use of Seek Talent Search (advanced filters, saved searches, InMail).
• Hands-on, demonstrable use of LinkedIn Recruiter (Boolean, projects, talent pools).
• Confidence sourcing beyond the job boards. You are not afraid to use Facebook groups, Instagram, TikTok, or other communities to find the right people.
• A proactive, creative mindset. You do not wait for applicants, you go and find them.
• Onshore in Australia with at least 6 months of valid working rights.

Nice to have (bonus)

• Previous experience recruiting in the education sector.
• Working knowledge of JobAdder (our ATS).
• Experience building talent pools or community based sourcing.

Base salary
$110,000 + superannuation

Commission
Up to 40%, uncapped

Leadership bonuses
Team performance incentives on top of personal commission (30% once your team has reached 20% of profits - Everything on top, uncapped)

Location:
Sydney CBD, office-based - Potential to work 1 day WFH if your team is on target.

Annual leave
6 weeks per year (above award). VIP Club members earn a 7th week.
