Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with additional learning needs.
- Support classroom teachers to differentiate curriculum and implement inclusive teaching practices.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment focused on wellbeing and engagement.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and allied professionals to provide holistic student support.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to school-wide inclusion initiatives.
- Recognised teaching qualification with a focus or experience in Special Education.
- Current (or eligibility for) registration with the Teacher Registration Board of the Northern Territory.
- Strong understanding of inclusive education principles and diverse learner support.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
