We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science (Physics) Teacher to join a well-established NSW Independent School. This is a permanent full-time opportunity commencing Term 3, 2026 (or by negotiation for the right candidate).
The successful applicant will teach Physics across Years 11–12, with the ability to teach junior Science viewed favourably.

Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons aligned with the NSW Curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic achievement
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress
- Build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- Participate in faculty planning, professional learning and school events
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
- Current NESA Teacher Accreditation and NSW Working with Children Check, or eligibility to obtain
- Relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Physics at the senior secondary level
- Ability to teach junior Science is highly desirable
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to student-centred learning and continuous professional growth
- Experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
