An exciting opportunity has become available for two passionate educators ready to step into leadership or continue growing their leadership journey. We are recruiting a Head of Science and a Head of English for a welcoming community school located around one hour north of Melbourne.

This school is easily accessible for candidates living in Melbourne or the surrounding suburbs and offers a genuinely supportive and collaborative working environment.

The Roles
Both positions are full time and permanent, commencing January 2026.

• Head of Science

You will lead curriculum development, support and mentor teachers, and play a key role in shaping teaching and learning outcomes across the Science faculty.

• Head of English

You will oversee curriculum planning, foster best practice in literacy and pedagogy, and support staff growth within the English faculty.

• VIT registration is essential.
• Applicants with leadership experience are encouraged to apply.
• Teachers with at least three to four years of classroom experience and a strong interest in leadership are very welcome to apply.
• A growth mindset, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for education are key.
