The Opportunity
  • Lead and Supervise Play-Based Learning
  • Facilitate child-centred play, guiding children and engaging learning experiences in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to educators in training, ensuring they follow best practices and maintain high standards in early childhood education.
  • Implement Christian values and educational philosophy to foster faith and deliver positive learning experiences for children from diverse backgrounds.
  • Leverage the surrounding environment to create opportunities for inquisitive, play-based learning that prepares children for school.
  • Maintain high-level communication with children, families, and staff to build rapport and create a collaborative learning environment.
  • Supervise children in outdoor play areas, ensuring their safety while encouraging exploration and learning through play.
About You:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Queensland Teacher Registration
  • Working With Children’s Check
  • Commitment to Christian Values
  • Ability to provide an updated Faith Questionnaire
