Currently, we're seeking dynamic and dedicated professionals for several Early Childhood roles within QLD.
The Opportunity:
- Design and implement a comprehensive Montessori-based curriculum
- Oversee the daily operations in the centre ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging setting for the children
- Observe and assess each child's development
- Apply Montessori principles and practices in the classroom
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with families
- Provide regular updates on children's progress and involving them in the educational process.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive and cohesive work environment
- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education and the Montessori method.
- Ensure compliance with the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and health and safety regulations
- Prepare and maintain the classroom environment that is conducive to learning according to Montessori principles.
- Support and mentor assistant educators and other staff members in the centre.
- Holding or actively working towards an ACECQA approved ECT qualification
- Possessing a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- Possession of or eligibility to obtain a current Blue Card, along with current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Montessori philosophy
